The Cheese Gallery in Thornbury brings back The Big Cheese Smackdown Event which is a friendly, but serious grilled cheese competition. It features 21 locations from Collingwood to the Blue Mountains each with their own creations that are then voted on by customers.

The Fundraiser is collecting donations of non perishable food, baby supplies, gift cards to pet food in the hopes of filling a truck outside the Freshco in Collingwood and delivering those donations to The Collingwood Salvations Army & Pet Food Pantry.

John Carswell is one of the founding members of the Collingwood Paddling Club and is presenting “Journey Into The Arctic” in Collingwood with stories and experiences exploring the remote landscape and unique wildlife of the Arctic.

The “Coldest Night Of The Year” walk in Collingwood. This fundraising event supports local charities serving people experiencing hurt, hunger and homelessness. The event also brings awareness to Home Horizon’s Barbara Weider House in Collingwood where youth can find help.

It’s the third annual Save The Bay “Polar Dip” event, raising funds to protect Georgian Bay and create awareness about the proposed TC Energy pump storage facility in Meaford.
