Che Roba is one of twenty local sandwich shops featured in the spring edition of On the Bay Magazine. Chef Luca Del Rosso’s mission is simple: serve Italian food the Italian way, so every customer can’t help but say “Whoa!” (“Che Roba!”) with every bite. Luca hails from the southern Italian coast and his girlfriend Antonella from the mountain region, together they’ve created a culinary destination in Wasaga Beach where their restaurant dreams have grown into a bustling reality. The couple serves hundreds of focaccia sandwiches, coffees, and other Italian delicacies on a daily basis, attracting visitors from Barrie and Toronto. Che Roba! has delectable offerings to suit a variety of occasions. If you’re wondering where to start, the signature Che Roba! sandwich should hit the spot. With fresh prosciutto, burrata, and truffles all imported straight from Italy, the savoury delight comes together perfectly on the freshly baked sweet focaccia.
