Purple Hills Arts & Heritage Society is offering a chamber music series this year, all held at St. John’s United Church in Creemore. The first concert; a brass quintet from the Kitchener-Waterloo Symphony, presented a diverse catalogue of arrangements spanning centuries of classical music.
Around 100 local residents and visitors gathered for the concert, which began at 2pm on Sunday, February 2nd. The church was warm and welcoming, and many visitors remarked on the impressive acoustics that brought the music to life and enriched the experience.
Purple Hills Arts & Heritage Society runs a variety of events throughout the year. The next instalment of the chamber music series is slated for March 9th and will feature a woodwind quintet. For more information, visit https://phahs.ca/
