Yeticon continues to grow, attracting fans to Blue Mountain from around the world. The weekend includes an exhibition, panels, and workshops on costume making and other cosplay elements, a live action role playing (LARP) experience, and plenty of opportunities for meet ups and photo ops around the Village.
Yeticon is beloved by visitors because of its unique setting and fun atmosphere. Cosplay fans mingle openly with ‘normies’ everywhere from the mountainside to the resort pools to the Village shops, and attendees remark on how special it is to be able to take their fandom outside rather than being confined to convention halls.
Yeticon attracts around 2000 people annually, with visitors mainly flying in from across Canada and the United States and further afield. For more information, visit https://www.yeticon.org/
