The holistic community in South Georgian Bay continues to grow as more people seek alternative treatments to physical and mental ailments. With so many practitioners living and working in the area, creating spaces for people to learn about all of the different modalities available to them is becoming more highly sought after.
Creemore recently hosted its Wellness Weekend which combined the Kindness Festival with the weekly market, special Indigenous Market, and culminating in Wellness Day. The exhibition united dozens of vendors ranging in expertise from singing bowls to massage therapy to microgreens, and people from all over the area gathered to explore what there was to offer.
As more people embrace holistic medicine and look for ways to live healthier lifestyles, events like Wellness Day spark curiosity and provide new tools for everyone’s “health toolkit”.
