It has been two weeks since Blue Mountain opened its ski and snowboard runs earlier than forecast, and spirits remain high. Staff, passholders, and visitors alike are feeling optimistic about the season, remarking on the impressive run conditions as well as the ideal weather for snowmaking.
The Christmas holidays always bring an influx of visitors to Blue, whether for the skiing, the Village, or just a winter getaway, and this year proves to be no exception. Skiers and snowboarders are delighted by the strong start to the season and are looking forward to the hill continuing to improve as more natural snow falls and better snowmaking technology is put to work.
