While Blue Mountain Pottery may be closed, its legacy lives on through the Blue Mountain Pottery Collectors Club. Each year, collectors and fans of this unique set of wares unite for the club’s annual convention; a time to reconnect, reminisce, and replenish growing collections.
While often taken for granted locally, pottery from Blue Mountain captures global attention and praise for its dramatic colours, intricate glazing, and expert craftsmanship. The convention attracts not only lovers of Blue Mountain pottery, but creators and designers as well. This year, the convention featured Master Mould-Maker David Bennett, the last mould-maker in Blue Mountain Pottery’s history.
The convention featured a variety of vendors and collectors, a film screening, the club’s AGM, and a pottery auction. For more information, visit http://www.bmpcc.com/
