The Prom Shop is a Clearview Community Church outreach initiative that offers graduating students the opportunity to find their prom dress, shoes, and accessories at no cost to them. The program began four years ago when the church took up the mantle from the local Cadets which had previously run the same operation. Through the Prom Shop, hundreds of girls from across the region have newfound access to high quality, beautiful formal wear without the burden of paying boutique prices, all in the name of ensuring that every student gets to feel beautiful on her graduation day.
The program grows in attendance every year, and with added incentives like free dress alterations, accessories, makeup, and prize giveaways throughout the day, girls flock to the event eager to make their special days event better while, of course, saying yes to the dress.
