As pickleball’s popularity continues to soar around the region, more opportunities to recruit new players are cropping up frequently. Most recently, Wasaga Beach has just kicked off its latest learn-to-play program for locals interested in building their skills courtesy of Elevation Athletics.
The program consists of two cohorts: an absolute beginner level and a novice player level. Over the course of their eight weeks, the groups will receive dedicated instruction in everything from holding paddles, controlling balls, mastering mobility, to finding confidence on the court. The program attracted people of different ages, speaking to the sport’s growing impact on multiple generations of players.
Elevation Athletics is a nationwide not-for-profit organization dedicated to instilling love for pickleball across the country, and participants consistently remark upon the fun social atmosphere the game fosters. For more information, visit https://eapickleball.com/wasaga-beach/
