With spring just around the corner, the Town of Wasaga Beach is eager to get families in the community feeling excited about the changing seasons. The Town’s Recreation department hosted its second annual Wild Wasaga; a family friendly event designed to give kids the chance to participate in a variety of activities while also giving parents the opportunity to learn more about upcoming camps and recreational programs.
This year the theme was dinosaurs, and there was no shortage of prehistoric fun. Activities included mini golf, face painting, a bouncy castle, and a pancake breakfast. The highlight of the day was the baby dinosaur; at extra special guest who loved all of his newfound attention.
Along with the activities, families could speak with representatives from a variety of local spring and summer recreational organizations like Active Arts, Wasaga Paintball, and Wasaga Minor Soccer.
Approximately 250 people attended the event which ran from 10am-3pm on Friday, March 14th. To learn more about recreational programming, visit https://www.wasagabeach.com/en/explore-and-discover/recreation-and-programs.aspx
