The Collingwood Paddling Club has been a staple of the region since 2004, and as it rings in its 20th year of operation, members hosted a trivia fundraiser to bring their community together and raise necessary funds to replace their dock.

The Club offers a wide variety of programming to paddling enthusiasts of all ages and skill levels. There are recreational programs, competitive leagues, introductory programs, and children’s camps just to name a few of the club’s offerings. Given the large scope of programming available and the hundreds of faithful club members, keeping the dock in good working order is a top priority for the Board of Directors.

The trivia night was primarily organized by Board member Sharon McCormick and hosted by Side Launch Brewery. The event was sold out, welcoming 14 teams and a total of over 100 players. The games were hosted by one of the club’s long standing dragonboat rowers, and players competed for a variety of prizes donated by local businesses.
