The Collingwood Legion hosted a Pop Culture Canada ComiCon event for lovers of all things comics, anime, trading cards, and more. The ComiCon featured over twenty vendors and welcomed hundreds of visitors from around the local region for a day of cosplay, celebration, and entertainment.

Visitors were able to browse record, comic book, and card collections, meet with accomplished cosplay costume designers, and purchase trinkets like hair accessories, pins, 3D printed models, and knitted dolls.

One of the most popular attractions was the meet & greet station with Loonette the Clown and Major Bedhead; two beloved television characters from the 1990s. The actors spent the day signing autographs and taking photos with delighted fans who brought pieces of memorabilia to the event in anticipation of meeting them.

Pop Culture Canada hosts a variety of events all over the province with the goal of spreading the love of pop culture while serving smaller communities who have less direct access to larger events like the Toronto ComiCon. For more information, visit https://www.popculturecanada.ca/
