The 2024/25 ski season at Blue Mountain kicked off earlier than expected due to early snow, advancements in snowmaking technology, and ideal temperatures.

After a rocky start to the season last year, officials at Blue are optimistic about this season, citing favourable forecasts and improvements to the hill’s infrastructure.

The hill’s official opening date is still December 14th, as announced back in October, however the entire team was thrilled to open the slopes a full week ahead of schedule in light of the earlier start to winter this year in South Georgian Bay.
