For the past 20 years, Thornbury’s Bayview Park has been the backdrop for the annual Music In The Park summer music series. It began as Jazz in The Park however, after years of people requesting different genres of music it has now evolved into Music At The Park. The performances are every Sunday from July until the end of August 6:00pm – 8:00pm featuring various musical groups. The series is well attended weekly by close to 400 people. The concerts are free with a “passing of the hat” for donations and a reminder to bring your own lawn chairs. Due to the weather, this weeks concert featuring The Mike McCarthy Band was relocated to The Marsh Stret Centre in Clarksburg.
