The Ministry of the Environment Climate and Parks (MECP) has asked the municipality of Grey Highlands to review their operations at the Amik-Talisman wastewater treatment system, near Kimberley, after a leak in the primary sewage lagoon was discovered. This story has been updated to include the municipalities actions. An earlier version also credited the MECP for creating a contingency plan when was actually municipal staff who created the plan.
