Simon’s 13th Birthday Bash

The sanctuary is nestled in the hills of Meaford, and owner Jaime Sirna wants to bring it into the spotlight. With Simon’s 13th on the horizon, she decided to make his party public by hosting an open barn event.

Simon is abnormally large for his breed, so reaching 13 is a real milestone. The gentle giant is is in great health, and even better spirits after so many people came out to celebrate his special day.

Along with encouraging visitors to interact with the animals on the farm, the sanctuary ran games, a raffle, a small vendors market, and sold vegan chili and hot drinks.
